Night 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai
Car will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Hanoi train station to catch the night train soft sleeper with AC to Lao Cai station.Overnight on the train
Day 1: Lao Cai – Bac Ha Fair market – Sapa (B,L)
Arrive in Lao Cai railway station early morning (6.00 am), the border town to China. After breakfast, depart for the highland town of Bac Ha on Sunday where you can wander through the district market, considered one of the most colourful ethnic markets in the Northwest. A weekly rendezvous for the locals and men folks can often be seen wending their merry way home at the end of a day at the market. After lunch, drive to Sapa – a 38 km journey on winding roads up the mountains. Sapa is located approx. 1,500 m above sea level. On clear days you can see the highest mountain of Vietnam, the Fansipan – the roof of Indochina. The rest of the day is at leisure. Discover Sapa town on your own, its bustling market, and the colourful dresses of the ethnic people, tea and coffee shops as well as the local life in this mountain town. Overnight at hotel in Sapa
Day 2: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B,L)
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of trekking for discover of nature as well as different culture of hill tribe people on a new trek in Sapa with a Engkish speaking tour guide. We will begin with a walking tour of Sapa market, then trekking downhill from village to villages around Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai and Ta Van area which is beautifully decorated by terraced-fields and the house of H'mong, Red Zao and Zay people. You have several levels for your trekking today from soft trek 2-3miles, medium trek (3-4 miles) and hard trek (5 miles). Great opportunity for taking photos of breathtaking landscapes, meeting friendly hill-tribe people at home and work... Have home hosted lunch in the village of Dzay people.Overnight at hotel in Sapa.
Day 3: Sapa free day – night train to Hanoi (B)
Free discover the town on your own, it’s time to get some souvenirs from the local people before taking 38km drive to Lao Cai railway station for the night train to Hanoi. Car pick up at train station in Hanoi, take you to your hotel in Hanoi.Overnight on Soft Sleeper Cabin with A/C
