Day 1: Hanoi arrival – Welcome Dinner (D)

Once upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our driver and tour guide and they will transfer you to the city center. Free at leisure on your own.In the evening, enjoy your welcome dinner in an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Ba Be national park (L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, we will pick you up and drive toward Ba Be national park which is plenty of many different species of fauna and flora. Tonight you will stay with a Tay family in their house on stilts.Overnight at homestay.

Day 3: Ba Be – Cao Bang ( B/L/D)
Simple breakfast with the local family then we will embark to a small boat for a journey around Ba Be lake – the biggest fresh water lake on mountain in Vietnam, this is one of the 20 special fresh water lakes which need preserving in the World. Good bye to the Tay family before continuing our drive to Cao Bang province. Now is free time for you to discover the city, which was destroyed completely by the Sino – Vietnam war and rebuilt to be a trade center in the Northeast Vietnam.Overnight at hotel in Cao Bang.

Day 4: Cao Bang – Ban Gioc waterfall – Quang Uyen (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, rive up to visit Ban Gioc waterfalls – the biggest waterfall in Vietnam. As a matter of fact, it is not full water in dry season. This area is the highest and most spectacular area in China and Vietnam border. Enjoy an imposing scene of Ban Gioc waterfall. Visit Nguom Ngao Cave before returning to Quang Uyen.Overnight at homestay in Quang Uyen.

Day 5: Quang Uyen – Lang Son (B/L/D)
Goodbye to the host , then we will drive to Lang Son. We will arrive Lang Son by the early afternoon and spend the rest of the day cross out visiting beautiful caves and a border market in the city. Overnight at hotel in Lang Son.

Day 6: Lang Son – Halong (B/L)

Leave Lang Son for Halong in the morning.The road these days will be a little bit bumpy but with the beauty of the sceneries, the drive will be worthwhile. We will drive through beautiful mountains and coastline of Quang Ninh province, the hometown of Halong.Arrive Halong city in the afternoon, free discovery and relaxation.Overnight at hotel in Halong.

Day 7: Halong cruise (B/L/D)
Spend your free time at leisure in the morning. Then take your time visiting Halong Bay in the afternoon – one of the new 7 World Wonders of Nature. Enjoy a sea-food lunch while you cruise among hundreds of islets to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit 'Sung Sot', one of the most imposing grottoes of the bay. After sunset, enjoy dinner before retiring to your cabin for a good night's sleep.Overnight on board cruise.

Day 8: Halong – Hanoi (B/L)
You will spend the morning cruising Ha Long Bay then have lunch just before you dock around noon. We will take you to your hotel in Hanoi or to the airport for departure.
